Remote photography, reinvented.

Short answer

CLOS is a remote photoshoot platform that lets a photographer or director remotely control the camera on any iPhone or Android to capture full-resolution photos and video anywhere in the world. It has been used to shoot real editorial and campaign work for titles including Vogue, British Vogue, Teen Vogue, Coach and The New York Times, and is trusted by more than 4,000 photographers.

Why we built CLOS

Great photography used to require everyone in the same room — photographer, talent, stylist, client. That meant travel, shipping, scheduling and cost. The pandemic proved shoots could happen remotely, but the tools fell short: a Zoom screenshot is a compressed, low-resolution frame, and AI generators invent images rather than capture real ones.

CLOS takes a different path. Instead of streaming video, it remotely triggers the actual camera sensor on the subject's phone — so the directing photographer keeps full creative control of focus, exposure, ISO and RAW, and receives true full-resolution files delivered to the cloud in real time. Real subjects, real images, directed from anywhere.

Today CLOS powers remote fashion and editorial shoots, virtual castings, remote product photography, corporate headshots and UGC for creators, brands and agencies worldwide.
